The lifespan of the extensions can be anywhere from 6 months to over a year depending on how well you take care of them and how often you wear them. You can find all of our Hair Care info here.

We recommend washing and conditioning the hair extensions once a week with a sulfate free shampoo. Washing the hair keeps it looking shiny and new, and prevents the hair from being weighed down by product. We also recommend going to a salon once every 2 weeks for a professional wash. Because all of our hair extensions are 100% virgin human hair, they can be colored, toned, cut and styled just like your natural hair. The extensions come in a natural dark brown color. If your hair is darker than the extensions, you can always take the extensions to a professional so they can be colored darker.

Your extensions can be blow dried, curled and flat ironed. We recommend doing so on a low setting. Keep in mind that it is best to let your wavy hair air dry as blow drying may cause damage to the curl pattern. We also recommend using a heat protectant before adding heat to the extensions to protect them from drying out.

One bundle contains 3.5 oz. For a full weave, we recommend (2) bundles if you are purchasing hair 18 inches and shorter. For 20” - 24” we recommend (3) bundles. For 26” and over we recommend 4 bundles. Keep in mind it’s always better to have more than not enough. You will also need a closure to completely enclose the top so that none of your natural hair is left out.

Stylists usually apply closures to the crown of the head by sewing it down. However, every stylist is different so you should always consult with them first.

A closure can last for a very long time depending on how it’s installed, and how you take care of it. If your frontal is sewn on, it will last for the duration of your sew in, and can be washed and installed again. Please follow our cleansing instructions.
